Thanks guys. Its a minor inconvenience and I have been living with it for while, I just add gass in 10 gallon increments and keep track of miles:). I was hoping it was something as simple as a loose wire as I don't really want to get involved with the sending unit. I thought I would try to pull the ...

How do I remove/repair the fuel gauge on my 250 PF Cab?

Can anybody give me some hints on how to remove the fuel gauge from the dash on my 250 PF Cab? Any suggestions for sending it out for repair? Thanks. Greg

I just replaced my XWX's on my 330 GTC with Perelli P400. The ride is significantly better and I think they look great as well.

William-I had something similar with my 330 GTC where it would pop on the intake side during acceleration above 3200 RPM. The advance mechanism was stuck but after driving 500 miles and 4 tankfuls of gas with Techron the problem disapeared. It is running great now. I was getting prepared for a distr...

Should I get an Optima or vintage battery?

Time for a new battery, wondering what you guys use. I am tempted to put an Optima in but a bit concerned about the look. I heard the 250 originally came with a Bosch battery. Fashion or function....?

Bryan-Yes, this is the car from the Ohio estate. The previous owner had only driven it about 10 miles a year the past 25 years so I was concerned about what might happen once I started driving it but it has been great. Changed all the fluids/belts and went 120 miles the first day until a radiater ho...

Thanks to everyone for the responses, lots of good info. I had not considered changing wheels but now would be the time to consider it as I do plan on getting mine refurbished/rechromed. BTW, my coupe is an outside plug with disc brakes and a build date of June 1960 (serial #1977GT).

250 PF tires giving me tired head

I am getting a little nervous about driving around on my 16 year old tires and thought I better start shopping. The tires on the car now are 175 X 400 and the rims are 5 1/2. I contacted Coker and Tire Rack and both said they do not have anything that would fit. I read Tom's "tiring issues" of 2/26/...

My 250 PF Coupe is in Norwood's shop in Dallas and Bob Norwood commented that it was a great survivor. He said he personally chopped up 7 PF coupes for various creations. Makes you wonder how many are really left. BTW, the clutch is $1,900 and estimated 16 hour labor. Greg Brendel
