William - This is what a Series III GTE belly pan looks like. As you can see, it is quite different from Kerrys.

Zac is not able to reply right now, but maybe I can help with those withdrawls. I visited Zac last monday and he gave me a tour of Tom Shaughnessy's ranch. First of all, Zac and the ranch are well worth a visit. Zac is a great guy who made plenty of time to show me around. The ranch is in the hills ...

My mistake. If you scroll down the list on the main page, you find the 1962 GTE that this thread is talking about. However, if you hit the word "Ferrari" on the left side, it takes you to a page which shows a Black on Black 1963 GTE which is stamped "Sold". Stick to the main list.

So you are not taking the body off the frame? Can you get to everything you need with them still attached?

Kerry has an excellent collection of magazine articles on the 330 GT 2+2 at the 330 Registry ( http://www.parrotbyte.com/330gtRegistry/ ). Look at the "Resources" menu, then go to Printed Material:Magazine articles on 330 GT cars.

Correct Air Conditioner for an Early 60's Ferrari?

If you are looking for the proper Air Conditioning unit for your Ferrari, here is a photo of the one Phil Hill used in 1960. Maybe Tom S. has one in stock?

Yeah Ed, but you get to add Italian air to the tires. That has got to be good for a couple of points at the shows!

Does anybody have a photo of an actual or restored blind? I've never seen one. It sounds like a heavy duty version of those spring loaded roller blinds you use at home.

Hey Zac - What is the DR knob you are holding in one of the photos? My knobs are L,P,F,I,W,A,D,B. Does a pre-production car have some cool gadget that didn't make it through Series III?

It would have to be a pretty big space if Tom Shaughnessy is going to post! I on the other hand, could use a small space for my extra parts and wants.

Looks like you have quite a challange on your hands! Being a prototype, it should be a challange to figure out what belongs and what doesn't. Sounds like you will be doing it right though. I believe that 2169 was the car photographed for the announcement of the GTE in Motor Trend (October 1960) and ...

I was suprised at how quickly I adapted to the right hand drive on a trip to England, Ireland & Scotland. Now the traffic circles... those were another story!
