Re: Factory Ferrari visit tips needed

I do not have the build sheets for 2259 either. And while the mirrors were put on by the dealers, not the factory, the bullet style is the norm.

Re: Just wanted to say great work on the 330 centre console

We all need to learn more about 3-D printing as the parts for our cars get harder to find. This is a great example of what can be done these days. Maybe we can start by making the ring on the steering column that turns off the turn indicators... :P

Re: afwrench

What a cool guy Mike was! Funny, helpful and great to be around. I will always remember the gathering we had at his home. I can still picture all of us standing around with a beer or glass of wine, looking up into each of our cars as we put them on his lift. Who's car was it that had the hole in the...

Unfortunately, no. It might be helpful to look for Fiat or Maseratti tools and see if any of them used the same wrench.

Re: Spark plug wrench of 250 toolkit

Darned good question! All of my tools (except the hub puller and grease hose) came with the car when I bought it in 2000. The guy I bought it from was the second owner and owned it since 1984. He was a shade tree mechanic and never spent a dime he didn't have to. The car was rebuilt with duct and el...

Re: Tom W's GTE

Thanks John! I wasn't aware that I was going to be interviewed or I would have lost a few pounds first! I also would have prepared something so hopefully I would have not had a couple of bloopers in there. However, the car looks great!

Re: GTE Fuel Filler Flap

4247 GT had one, though it was hard as a rock when I got it, so it has been replaced, It is nice because it prevents the gas nozzle from damaging the fender.

They are small and they shake, but I use my (one) all the time. Especially when backing out of the driveway.

Yellowed Dome Light Covers?

Tom Y visited Yolanda yesterday and it reminded me that I still have a few of her dome light covers left. The quality is great so if yours are yellowed or cracked, this is a big improvement. I am selling at cost, $30 plus postage and have both the early and later styles.

Re: 330 door mirrors

I have a mirror on my GTE on the drivers side only and use it all the time, especially when backing out of the driveway. It is small, but better than nothing. The proper location for a mirror on the passengers side would be blocked by the pillar, so I did not install it. I will admit, though, that b...
