Hi JL,
I'll keep an eye out for these two pieces. The locknut can always be fabricated and chrome plated if you really get into a bind, but the gas cap lock is tough one to find.
Good luck!

Re: 330GTC ignition switch removal
Hi Terry, You may be able to remove the back side of the switch to clean the contacts. It's going to take some contortions to stick your head back there to remove the two bolts that hold the back side of the switch. You'll have to disconnect the wires first. Removing the whole column assembly is a l...

Re: 365 Gt 2+2
HI Mark,
Is there an access hole under a rubber grommet at the pedal box, or am I thinking about a C/4? The vent might be what you have to remove to access the nut. Also, access sometimes has to come from behind the splash shield and behind the heater plenum.
Good luck!

Re: Daytona Brake Caliper Rebuild
Hi Drew, Terry is right, be careful! Wrap the assembly with a shop rag before applying compressed air and keep it away from painted surfaces. When the piston pops, it often it accompanied with a cloud of brake fluid, so watch out where the fluid goes. The rag will keep the splatter down and catch th...

I had John Whittington make a new one for a GTE I'm restoring, and I'll try to remember to take a picture of it for you.

Re: Rear gearbox shaft seal
Hi Christopher, I'm pretty sure you can do it from below without removing the interior. The drive shaft will have to come out along with the rubber doughnut. I have found using a long thin punch inserted into the hollow end of the guibo joint bolt will have guide them back into the four flange holes...

Re: 330 door mirrors
I feel it's too dangerous not to have them, especially when you're used to having them on all the other cars. I know guys who don't have them on their cars, but have installed a wide mirror inside the car to help with the rear view.

Re: Newbie questions '50s 250 GT PF, Boano, Elena
Hello All, I'm about to graduate from my Maserati 3500 GT to a mid to late '50s 250 GT PF, Boano, or Elena. I'm just wondering if there is any repro literature and repair manuals available? Many Thanks, RF. Welcome to the fold! As you're discovering, there isn't a lot of stuff out there, but we all...
