Well, from this post I assume you are looking for a Ferrari or Lambo "where someone doesn't know what he has." You're looking for the big score, buy low, sell high, that sort of thing. Arbitrage and all like the big money guys. Luckily you can move in and out of your real estate assets while drivin...

On a slightly different topic: JSA330, can't you jack up the car and drop the radiator? it's been a while but I thought that was correct. Regards, Art S. ... I don't think so; the tank on top appears wider than the sheetmetal slots that the ends slide into. Worth another look, though...thanks. Veri...

You gus are reminding me... I need to lube the new heater valve control cable that was installed in late '05. Sounds easy, but I have to remove the speedo to get at the screws that hold the heater control backplate to the dash, then completely remove the cable, pull it apart, lube it, and put it all...

Since the last post regarding my speedo cable I have pulled the tach cable out and repeated the same lubrication process as for the speedo; both have had a couple of weeks and some extensive driving and they're now fine, even the cold-weather startup tach jiggle has gone away completely. So I have t...

I am also interested in observing a SOCH V12 rebuild. Hopefully, it won't be my own anytime soon, but if one is shown on the board here I'll be following the progress closely, for sure. What might be neat is an in-residence V12 rebuild workshop-seminar that lasts say 2 weeks and would be open to att...

Hi Bryan, Thanks! now I have to go abuse "tongascrew" on F-chat who just stated that it was ok to turn old 2+2s into replicas because it "is not economically viable" to restore them . . . . After my 330 blew its clutch in Sept, rebodying it did pass through my mind, along with other ill-conceived i...

I do major automotive projects in summer, then drive and do minor projects during the winter. It's nice here from mid Sept through mid May, then 4 solid months of 95F+ temps...too hot for me and the 330, except very early morning. This summer I got the instruments rebuilt and an electronic ignition ...

Followup on my speedo and tach cables: -Removed tach and speedo; routine is familiar now. Padded surrounding dash area and draped over wheel spokes with shop towels. -Removed both cables...very easy to just grasp and pull out. Speedo cable does need extra care because it is long. -Cables weren't dr...

In the archives, someone really had a bad experience with the Seaport mold. What has your experience been? They wanted $150 for this. Is that what they charged you? I am still confused about the arrows. Are you sure they don't point to tighten? thanx again steve I found the rubber padding on the Se...
