Hub Pullers
Would anybody be able to confirm or deny if the original RW hub pullers supplied with the Ferrari tool kits had any stampings on them. I have "heard" that the originals had "RW" stamped on them. However I do know that some handles were fixed and some were not leading me to think that the stampings m...

Great advice John. +1John Vardanian wrote:From personal experience, removing the leaf spring is not as big a deal as reinstalling it, there is technique to it. If you decide to do so, make sure to ask about the routine. A few folks here have done it.

Re: seat belts
Peter, are your klippan belts labeled with a tag? If so what model are they and is there a year stamped on it. I believe the Daytonas all used Klippans but the model of belt changed from year to year: Klippan model 517,562, etc. I was curious to see what model Klippan the earlier 330 ferrari would u...

I think you are correct regarding the Irvins and Kippans. However I have noticed a subtle difference in some Irvins. Difficult to describe. Seemed that the GTC and 275's are a little different. I will see if I can find some pics to post.

Re: seat belts
While we are on seat belts does anyone know if there were different styles of Irvin seat belts? If so was each meant for a specific model? I have seen the clip buckles that were all natural in appearance. But I have also seen some Irvins that were chromed and a little different configuration. One se...

Hi
Mine were also bent from previous over tightening. I, very carefully, brought them back to form and then installed a spacer between each mounting hole and casting. There is also a rubber gasket that goes between your bent portion and the door.

I would like to pass on a site pertaining to the laycock overdrive units. http://www.worldphaco.net. I found it by a simple google search of laycock overdrive units. It is in PDF and is 19 pages and is a must copy for anyone with one of these overdrives. It is common knowledge that Ferrari used the ...

Cory If the odometer is accurate as you mention above, then I would suspect the gauge again regardless of the assumed restoration. + 1 I want to clarify my initial comment about the speedometer. While driving, the odometer tenth and mile counter clicks off appropriately. That is to say it is workin...

C. Thank you. Great pictures. I was told by the specialist that rebuilt my unit that the gear in your pictures is "free floating". There was no mention of a wedge for anti rotation. I too hope it was not forgotten. Can I assume that the only way to get to that gear is by taking the back part of the ...
