Re: 250 GTE original type exhaust

Thanks for all input. Enclosed a link to pictures of a complete system on a car I found some time ago of a system on a Gte on BaT. I believe Abarth but please correct me if not. Was the end tip of the Abarth system black or chrome? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1963-ferrari-250-gte-3/ Thanks to ...

Re: 250 GTE original type exhaust

Dear John, Terry, Tom, Thanks a lot for your inputs. I would love to have an original looking Abarth copy. I would go for the Greg Jones/ Timevalve system if it were not for the 30% taxes plus transport cost. So an option in Europe would be perfect. Terry, I will try your contact and see what they c...

250 GTE original type exhaust

Hi Tom, All, first a happy new year to you all and all the best. What are the options (and cost) for original looking exhaust systems. I know that Abarth was the original provider and the change to the most commonly used Ansa systems came much later. Here my questions: Which companies do provide Aba...

Re: 330 Sunvisors - ur blog

Hi Tom,

Newton Commercial in the Uk does high frequency joining. They use it for example for original door cards. They mainly do prefab interiors for classic cars. Maybe a try speaking to them. See link below.

Re: What are the missing part names and numbers?

Try Kerry from the 330 register (330gt.com) or look at his pictorial encyclopedia. If you do not find the info you are looking for at 330gt contact Kerry. He knows 330‘s inside out.

Re: Electrical Board - Ignition problems

Hi Kristian,

I can only recommend to purchase the full diagram from Kerry. I do have one. It is poster size and color coded. It really made my life easy when I rewired my car. Worth the smallmoney he charges
many times.

Re: GTE Electrical Whine

Graham, directly behind the bonnet catch is the blower motor for the interior. Are you sure that it is not that? Use a stetoscope or long screwdriver to touch it and listen if sound comes from it. Again, from my S3 wiring diagram from Kerry I assume 3 wires on the fuse you mention. Two to the coils,...

Re: GTE Electrical Whine

Hello John, I agree that this would be also my first thought but for the connection to the upper left fuse. Graham says it stops as soon as he removes this. Assuming the wires are still according to the wiring diagram this fuse is connected to the coils and the alternator/ generator regulator based ...
