Glovebox light fixture.

Kere - Did you locate a replacement glovebox lamp holder? If not, I have a very good used one if you need it, and 2 NOS. Tom - Mine look exactly like yours, and there is not a cover.

Missing GTE.

Does anyone know the whereabouts of the GTE that belonged to Brian Bailey from Oregon (formerly from Phoenix, AZ). Car was painted yellow last I saw it, about 10 years ago.

Art - You have some good observations. I would probably ask the seller to send a few more close-up pictures with the lights dis-assembled. They might actually be a very good deal at the price. I don't need any more ( I bought a few during the last year or so) or I would follow up on these. The guy's...

Fog lights.

Art - I would recommend looking on eBay for NOS fog light parts you need. I have had good luck. I tried unsuccessfully to find a good place to re-chrome the housing, and re-silver the reflectors. No luck. Of course re-chromed and re-silvered parts just aren't the same as good originals. What lights ...

Kick plates.

Hi Ed - Thanks a lot. I didn't know about this forum until very recently. I would have been glad to get a set of panels from Mark if I had known. I was able to get a panel from Danchuk and painstakingly made my panels using great care not to scratch the parts while cutting/filing, etc. They turned o...

Kick Plates aluminum embossed material.

I finally found the aluminum kick plate material for my GTE door panels. I purchased a piece of the material (used on the side trim of the "57 Chevy BelAir) from Danchuk. I have enough extra material to do one or two cars 250 GTE or 330. Hope this helps someone else that needs this material. It took...

GTE NOS Foglights on eBay.

I recently bought a set of the "NEW" Marchal foglights that a few guys are selling on eBay. When received, it was clear that they were not the same as the original, however they were very good re-productions. I sent them back for a refund with no questions asked. They were very close, but I needed p...

Radiator fan on GTE.

FYI - The cast 3-blade engine driven fan that came on my GTE #4355 was Magnesium, not aluminum. We found out the hard way when machining the hub on a lathe to repair the bearing mount, and the shavings burst into flames. It took a while to put out the magnesium fire. I replaced the Magnesium fan wit...
