Re: 330 front oil hoses
That highlights some of our problems with the parts books and trying to create a GTE one Tom! Very grateful that you happen to have the variations on hand to check. We have plenty of parts and technical information here, but we don't have the cars here to cross reference too as well, so sometimes we...

Re: 330 front oil hoses
Hello John Problem we have here at the moment is that we have two parts here, 240029 which we've had made up to the correct length with one end screwing into the base of the filter housing and the other end has a short metal section and then a similar screw fitting. What we have listed as 240059 is ...

330 front oil hoses
330GTOIL.jpg Apologies if this has been covered before, but I'm looking for some photos and/or sizes and lengths of the two oil hoses from the filter housing down on a 330GT engine. We have some conflicting information here and trying to work out what is correct. Part numbers are 240059 and 240029 ...

Re: Tall Acorn Nuts for inside plug motor
Been hunting around the warehouse and the closest domed nuts I can find are the 100044 parts that I mentioned previously - not quite what you are after though I suspect... Let me know if you want any more details.

Re: Tall Acorn Nuts for inside plug motor
Checking - do you know what thread size you are after to fit, we've got a lot of different domed nuts here, so might be able to find something to suit.

Re: Tall Acorn Nuts for inside plug motor
Checked our stocks here, we have two domed nuts that people use for cam covers etc, parts 100044 and 101239 and they are both about 12mm high. I have the equivalent part number for the inside plug engines as 92310, but that superseeds over to an 'open' nyloc nut. Will see if we have any other inform...

Re: Door handle spring
Extra note - it's not too complicated to switch the lockset over, but the Alfa Spider door handle isn't a straight swap anyway. We've got a few doorhandles in stock here at MCP, they came in various different finishes (chrome outer handle, painted inner, all painted finish with polished outer rim et...

Re: Door handle spring
The handles are quite similar (identical looking outside) but not the same internally, but there is a good chance the spring will match. Used on Alfa Spiders from about 1969 onwards. Also used on 400 Series cars and Mondials as well, which have the same mechanism style as the 365GT one. Investigated...

Waaa- they were both in the office here a few weeks ago while Ted introduced Wayne to us here. Going to be a complicated thing to sort out... Great sympathies to all the families and friends involved.

Re: 250/330 rear spring bolts
Simon has been most helpful with this! The Factory technical diagrams we have were not clear on the bolts for the rear springs and the torque reaction arms and we are now working it all out properly. The parts books are often a bit sketchy in this era as you all probably know. Always learning more!

250/330 rear spring bolts
Hello again - after a bit of assistance/information As you may be aware now, I'm at Maranello Classic Parts and one of the (many) projects we have on the go is creating some parts books for cars that didn't have them originally - along with arranging production of 'missing' parts. I'm currently inve...

Re: Courtesy lights on a GTC
Hello there As an alternative you can get LED versions of Festoon bulbs nowadays that give you a brighter light and don't generate the heat so won't melt the lens. Don't know where you get them in the USA, but there are available in the UK from bettercarlighting.co.uk Haven't investigated the dash l...
