Letterman Superamerica color

My car got crunched badly last friday night and is going to need major body repairs. I want to get it repainted and have seen a pic of Dave's Superamerica in a blue color...anyone have access to a pic or know the color?

Yes, I have done a search.

Thanks,

Scott

Some serious needs.

I can suggest Tom Shaughnessy, T. Rutlands, and Fred Petroske at All-British. Links should be under Ferrari Suppliers on this board.

Well, #6997 fizzled in the true ebay sense...reserve not met.

Maybe the seller's comment about having moved 330's in "similar or worse condition" for very respectable sums had something to do with it...choice of words can have a powerful effect.

Re: 8101.

My mistake...didn't see that seller ended listing early.

Interesting ebay results: s/n 6937 sold for about what I guessed. s/n 8101 didn't sell...and this was an apparently-nice Series II car...surprised at the lack of movement. s/n 6997 is has 6.5 hours to go, and bids are not yet approaching what reasonable reserve would be...around $75-$80K, with being...

Robert, IMO, the market has reached speculative levels for select 60's production Ferraris...275GTBs and Lussos being the most obvious examples. In the five-plus years since I "entered the market", i.e., started looking for a 330 2+2, GTBs and Lussos have tripled and quadrupled, while 2+2s have rise...

Knowing the wife will be driving the 246 GT while I'm dying of cancer? Not on my watch. Rudy van Daalen Wetters 1963 GTE s/n 4001 1966 330 GT s/n 8705 No way my wife could even get the 330 out of the garage...she'll sell it if I die first, but has pronouced that it stays put until that happens. Kerry, that's encouraging. My car is mucho el primo mechanically, with issues limited to non-functional trunk light, sunroof needing repair, radiator that it wouldn't hurt to rebuild, that kind of thing. Cosmetically, very evenly-patinaed car, gets compliments on overall appearance all the time. I l...

$76, 100.00 took the red Interim 330.

Knock off two or three thousand for an early Series I, and looks like my guess regarding an anticipated sales price my 330 is right on.

Kerry It is looking more and more like the late 80s............M Nah...this is nothing like the late 80's. The previous owner of my car told me that in '89 he got an offer of $90K the way it sat...essentially the same as when I bought it in late '02...badly neglected but sound. I'd bet 100 bucks ag...

There's an unbuilt Record series II on eBay now: The pictures are pretty good. I noticed a couple of things: 1. The fuel filler is on the wrong side. 2. The PF shield and script are on the front fender rather than just ahead of the rear wheel. They probably started with the same mold they had for t...

william...I had to go back and forth with Ferrari a couple of times. They claimed at first no buildsheets were available for s/n 5409, then changed direction when I pushed a little. temperamental cars and people, I guess.

Jsa330, I use my choke with out problems, But some have problems with the choke disturbing the adjustment. William, I haven't had any apparent problems with it either. However, I've been getting some backfiring on hard acceleration recently and it's due to go to Norwood Perf for a look. I always ha...

I always open the choke 1/2" or so if the car has been sitting for more than a day, leave it open a couple of minutes after car starts, then close it over another minute.

The owner's manual says to use the choke, so I use it...I don't understand why choke usage is frowned on.
