Re: Mixed Feelings

Tom K; thank you for taking the time to articulate your reasons and feelings attached to selling your magnificent QM. I think I may have posted a few comments in resposne to "why are you selling" a couple of years ago, but never really addressed it fully, or in retrospect. Like you, I tried to parse...

Re: Who is going to Radcliffe?

We had a great group dinner last night and will convene again at Michael Bayer's house tonight - Zac D and Bill Bowdish flew in from Ca yesterday. I'll take pics tonight. Tomorrow morning we will load the 500 Mondial on the trailer and head up early - we will caravan up to Baltimore in a Lancia Fulv...

I understand that Garre will use his to make cotton candy at the Yang/Garre gathering in a few weeks; you might want to pick up a couple of extra flux capacitors. . . .

Re: Radcliffe Motorcar/TomYang.Net Vintage Ferrari Event

well, Dad, Michael Bayer and I got the radiator re-installed tonight after our diagnosing/treating the overpressure issues we had at the FCA National meet. So I am pleased to say that the 500 Mondial will be at the Radcliffe/Yang event. And Michael is foolish enough to let me drive one of his cars, ...

Re: Cavallino 2011

alas, i will not be making the trip this year. My discretionary funds are going to the completion of my garge fit-out (I built the shell 12 years ago).

Re Cavallino, the only friendly advice I can give, is to slowly (or quickly) back away when Dr. Dugger puts on the rubber gloves . . . .

Re: Cavallino 2011

John actually relieved this lass of that dress to make his shirt . . . . the magic of the aussie accent in south Florida . . . Also heard an ugly rumor that there will be a historic race at Cavallino/Moroso this year (good), but, being sanctioned by FNA, entries will only be accepted for cars either...

Re: FCA Judging

I agree w/ what has been posted so far. First - the notion of a points cushion for cars that are driven is essential. I tried my best to maintain my QM as a driver, but also as a concours contender. I knew that I was going to take a 2 to 3 point hit everytime I drove onto a field since I had a singl...

Re: Another seal question

But they ARE comfy!
Michael fitted one new pump, and then another when it turned out the first one wasn't functioning properly out of the box. But the second one didn't seem to be working either . . .

Michael, do you want me to finish this story, or shall I let you???
