Chuck McCreight and I have also chosen the Quail over the Concorso. As of yesterday, they still had tickets available.

What is this year's feeling on the great Consourso vrs Quail debate? Who plans to go where? I am not exactly a newbie, but not having been to the show in almost 20 years makes me feel like one! I could also use some tips on what time to go to each event to (at least try) to miss the entrance lines. ...

For those who didn't make it last year, I strongly suggest you look into it this year. We had a blast! And as I found out, even though it is on the wrong coast, Jet Blue has a fairly reasonable cure. Let's do it!

So that's what that thing is! I have a starter motor heat shield in a box of random parts (some of which may have come from other cars), but did not know what it was. One more confirmation that it is good to ask the previous owner if they have any car stuff left in the garage.

Documenting your restoration

I would be interested in hearing how people keep track of their restoration. I was asking Zac about this and his answer of "I have a photographic memory" was cool, but unfortunately impractical for me. I have a pile of labeled notebooks full of sketches and notes, but find I either have to keep swit...
