Thanks Guys. I am sure the covers will be "glued" on. Appreciate the tips.

Daytona Cam Covers
Need to paint my Daytona cam covers. Assume I just remove the acorn nuts and tap a couple time with a rubber hammer. Do you also have to remove the bolts that go in horizontally from the distributor ends. Appreciate any help.

Re: Koni SHock Bushing Removal
Hi John,
David Feinberg, a friend who runs a Ferrari service in NH, recommended them. Their turnaround time was 1-2 weeks where I believe Koni in TN was substantially longer.
I never compared price as the estimate I got from TrueChoice seemed reasonable.

Re: Koni SHock Bushing Removal
Just wanted to report back. I sent my old shocks and springs to TureChoice in Ohio along with new eyelet bushings and rubber spring perches. Very satisfied with the results including the painting. They pushed out the old eyelets, installed new, painted the springs, refirbished the shocks including h...

Re: sun visor rubber tips
T Rutlands sells them. In fact I think they are on T Rutlands e-bay store as well.

Re: Koni SHock Bushing Removal
I'm not about to even consider removing the springs myself. They go our for someone who has proper equipment.

Re: Koni SHock Bushing Removal
Again thanks Tom.
I'm thinking I will push out the center rubber then carefully hand cut out the outer ring. If I can get the outer ring out in one piece thinking I should be able to do just what you guys do and use it to press out the others.
Gotta love the hobby.

Re: Koni SHock Bushing Removal
Thanks Tom - appreciate. Sounds like a nice project for a Saturday afternoon.
One more question - do you normally replace the upper and lower rubber monuts the spring seats on against the shock. Seems like now would be the time to do it but I have never seen this covered before.

Koni SHock Bushing Removal
Just got the front shocks out of a Daytona. Going to press out the bushings. Have never done this before but have a 12 ton HF press. Assume the outer metal part of the bushing that surrounds the rubber needs to come out. I don't think I have a sock that will fit exact. Have read threads where folks ...

Re: Daytona Shock Removal and Rebuild
Thanks guys. Appreciate the help. After looking at the parts diagram I got the general idea from Dyke's post. I also found the Bill Barurski article from PH69 on removal and adjustment of Daytona Koni shocks from the FCA archives which was quite helpful. One last question before I wear out my welcom...

Daytona Shock Removal and Rebuild
Going to tackle this project over the next couple of months and had a couple of questions. I am assuming that once the car is on jack stands and the suspension is hanging free the shock with the coil come out as a unit once the bolts are removed without much else havin got be done. Second, when you ...

Could someone post the web link or phone number to call Koni to have shocks rebuild. For the life of me I cannot find it on the internet. Thanks, Drew.
