Hi Mark, I may be a little late to chime in but I run Michelins XVS. I really like the ride and the vintage look. BTW, I did have the XWX on my car before. The tires were rock hard. They were installed before I bought my car so I know they were getting old. So I doubt it would be a good representati...

Hi Tom W,

Not real sure, I have what looks to be the orginal slotted screw plugs.

I spoke to Hilary Raab last night and may see him this weekend with the car to get his opinion.

I also spoke to Parker Hall he was unsure of another size.

U Joint Greese Tool

I bought a U joint greese tool from Parker Hall and was going to use it last night, however was unable to as the dia. of the threaded end on the tool is to big to fit into the U-joint greese holes.

Are there different threaded sizes of these holes?

Thanks

Any other sugestions on small parts that are supposed to have this type of plating that I may want to remov...

Hey Tom W, Thanks for the pics, I still havent pushed in or knocked out the body filler of the second hole, but I can kinda tell where the second hole is through the paint. From my measurements the holes apperar to be 1.2 inches apart. so we must have had the same mirrors. Aardvark (kerry's link) se...

Thanks Kerry

Just looking at my door it appears that the two holes are not further apart then maybe two inches. I have not touched the initial hole so it is no more then pin size and the other hole is not visible just a dimple area that appears to be that of a hole.

Thanks

holes in my door!!

Hi guys, I have been doing a little work on the inner door panels on the GTE....painting with por 15 followed by some under coat. As I was painting I would dip my glove in the por paint and reach up inside the door near where a side mirror would be placed on the door. Last night I noticed a very sma...
