Thanks MB.
Check out the relays here. They operate at 12V DC, they are very, very small and some carry up to 10 amps. What about these?

Relays
Has anyone tried to put a micro relay inside the original equipment relay, like the horn relay?
I know this trick is common with the 60's Marelli voltage regulators, but just wondered if the same can be done for, say a horn relay. Thanks.

This is the fan I ended up with. It seems to have the highest cfm output and the price is less than Ebay.

Thank you everyone for your advice. Tom Y, we are talking about the PF Coupe. The fan spins all the time, unlike your car. The inside plug engines have their dynamo spun from a gear in the middle of the camshaft sprockets. At the other end of the dynamo there is a pulley that spins the fan pulley vi...

Aux Radiator Fans
Folks,
Any suggesstions on auxiliary radiator fans?
Last summer while waiting in the stop-go traffic of Crapo Italiano for nearly an hour my 250 overheated.
The surface of the radiator can accomodate a 16-inch fan it seems.
Thank you.

Well, I went to a couple of bicycle shops but all I could find was stranded cable, which works well for pulling but not pushing. I was trying to save the sheath and just replace the core. The parts stores only sold choke cables which would work fine as long as use the cable along with its own sheath...
