I bought a kit from Talacrest here in UK.They had it in stock. It came with all rubber parts gaskets new poppet valves with springs in their brass housings.Parts looked the same as I took out. Done around 1700 miles since with no probs.

330 tappets and rollers

does anyone know if the rollers are hardened through or just case hardened. mine had some marks on so i ground 0.005" under. now i fancy going way under and changing the tappet screws to porsche type for a better foot on the valve tips.

i used a cheap wallpaper scraper as theyre really thin lubed with some silicon sealant to help it slide past the seals

mine just have regular nuts and bolts as well. I removed them with a modified by grinding a cheap ring spanner. the spanner was of an offset design to get a deeper reach. it ended up very thin and with tapered sides but it doesnt need much strength as its only m6. i couldnt get a socket drive anywhe...

Type 42 is std Rudge-Whitworth 42mm from beginning of last century of a hub insert to a wooden wheel and refers to the maximum diameter of bearing for the hub but not necessarily fitted to that hub. every one in uk knows that. :D

my series one is all steel apart from grp gearbox cover.you could look at mine as the carpet is out but your miles away.looks like lots of small sections between the tubes some forming deep wells in the rear for foot room
