Re: Tom's Restoration Diary: Boxer Comparison

Interesting results, but not unexpected. It is only natural for the owners to be a bit biased. We all have different likings and expectations, therefore, everyone is correct. Your observations were pretty muuch right on too. There's no end if we begin talking details and specs. Looking forward to mo...

I just wanted to mention that number of years ago, this Japanese car magazine, Neko Publishing, published a special magazine named, Boxer 12 Ferraris. This special edition consisted of 14...

Re: Thinking of a Daytona

Hello Steve:
Might help to know as to why a Daytona ? I have owned one for five years now. Not that I am any expert, but I may be able to answer a question or two. Seems to me like you already own splendid cars. Good luck. w/ smiles Jimmy

Re: Help: 275 Dust Boot Cover ?

The round rubber boot you speak of is for use in the interior of the car where the shift rod to the transaxle exits the interior through the rear wall. It is just to the inside of and behind the drivers seat. These boots rarely last very long because they have to operate at a very acute angle and t...

Re: Help: 275 Dust Boot Cover ?

Thanx a bunch for more detailed insights to my confusions. This was was restored in Italy few years ago and I tend to think that they did things "properly" ? (I know, it depends...). I checked with my local mechanic as stated earlier, and he researched and got a reply from a supplier showing a rathe...

Re: Help: 275 Dust Boot Cover ?

Thanx for the reply and your knowledge, Dyke. Nevertheless, from another source in England, the gentleman indicated that 275s do come with transaxle boot ??? Meanwhile, my local mechanic also indicated that he wasn't aware of any boot like that. Hmmmmm,...confused still. w/ smile Jimmy

Help: 275 Dust Boot Cover ?

Does anyone know if a 1966, 275 GTB long nose has a dust boot cover at the throw-out bearing fork where it enters the transmission house ??? ( I don't think I know what I am talking about). I was told by this individual that it is missing. I checked w/ a mechanic who said 275 does not come with dust...

My 275GTB #08191 on Youtube

If anyone care to watch, my 275GTB 2 #08191 longnose all alloy is on Youtube. At least you can hear the engine sound and the horn too. I wasn't aware of this. My friend, Mr. Kura, a vintage Ferrari broker, borrows my cars often for shows and events and he must have done this without my knowledge. Lo...

He seems to have his own Q/A section in www.webcg.net and his Q/A mail address is qa@webcg.net. I have sent a letter to him requesting informa...
