Re: Booster Vacuum hose

Sounds like you really need to step in and take that over Tom. Come on, get a couple of retirees up there working for you, it'll be great!

Re: radiator recore recommendation needed

I have a wheel, I assume for a blind, under the steering wheel of my 330GT. I'm surprised this era car also came with that. Does anyone know any other 330's that have this? (Or do I get to say "only 330GT with radiator blind wheel!") Hah.

Re: ansa vs abarth exhaust

And Timo I put 25,000 miles on my 330 with it being in the shop for literally 1/2 of my time as owner. I used to track how much I spent on maintenance every year here in Tom Yang land until I got to total about $70,000!!!!! (Then I was just embarrassed). The thing that gets me about aftermarket exha...

Re: ansa vs abarth exhaust

Dyke, Was there a sound or power difference with the original Abarth system? Do Spacem and Ceretto still exist? How were they? I know you and Timo like to go on disparaging stainless steel systems but I didn't like the Ansa system and have had my car for 14 years now and still have an exhaust, somet...

Re: 250 GTE Tire recommendations

I had a conversation with myself reading this and the first thing I said was Kumho's suck but I thought I shouldn't really say that - how bout it's just a real crappy look to have a Daytona and put Kumhos on it. That said I don't like xwx's either, though many do, at least though they look cool. Dam...

Re: 330 America 5109

That was John Bond's 330 America, I assume you know all this?: S/N 5109 has two interesting histories. The original owner was John Bond, the founder, editor and publisher of Road and Track magazine. Mr. Bond owned the car for 15 years and regularly drove it between his homes in Los Angeles and Palm ...

records

I asked a Portuguese friend who is into BMW's if he could get me some record albums of 1970's/80's Cape Verdian music. This was one of them!

Re: Questions: Heater valve, steering box fluid, vapor lock?

What is wrong with the cars vent hose Dyke? I used to have vapor lock problems that the electric fuel pump solved until I had electric fuel pump problems. But you know that is the story of my life as a Ferrari owner.

Re: 250 GTE Tire recommendations

So asking if you actuslly used them is snarky? And relying on some web sites sales language is education? Anyway, I really didn't mean to attack you, or come off as I was. I just get frustrated when people don't actually say anything as I do want to learn from others experience.

Re: 250 GTE Tire recommendations

I have a request. Can we please be specific about recommendations and not say vagueries like a nice a Dunlop sp because 1. I don't know what tire you are actually talking about and 2. I can't tell if you actually used that tire and what you really thought about it in comparison to others you've used...

Re: 250 GTE Tire recommendations

I love Avon CR6ZZ's. They are great and very grippy with a nice ride feel. Much better then anything else we have to choose from. Roger Kruase racing is who stocks them in the U.S with an East Coast and West Coast warehouse. They are cheaper the XWX's but not cheap. (And they last 8000 miles, but fo...

Re: Oil Change

Think about how amazing it would be for both of us John if we lived near each other. My car exists in a constant state of broke. It could provide you with a lifetime of dirty hands with it's machinations.
