Re: fuel regulator

Does anybody know which filter may fit in the Fispa pressure regulator. I would appreciate any hint with the number of an European supplier (Bosch, Mann or others).

Re: Hub Pullers

Similar to Cornelis I used a 3-arm puller. As i could not disassemble the rotors because the screws were slipping at the backside I had to machine a threaded disc with same thread as the spinners. So I got good contact points for the puller. See pic.

Re: Rotors

Does anybody know the thickness dimensions of 330GT 2+2 front and rear rotors. I do not find any technical data in the manual. I want to know if mine were still close to the original dimension or 5 times skimmed/grinded getting to slim.

Re: Update: fuel delivery problem, 250 GTE

Zanny, just another thought: In the past I had the same problem at another car (not a Ferrari). The final solution was that the needle valve inside the float chamber had to less clearence to open. So the float chamber got empty by higher fuel consumtion. It was a single carburator model. For the thr...

Re: 250GTE Rear Springs and Shocks

Cornelis, I know this is not the high end solution. I would never do such things at front coil springs. But for the rear springs the preload to assemble is much less when the shackeles are horizontal. So the spring force is much much less compared to the position with assembled axle. After assemblin...

Re: 250GTE Rear Springs and Shocks

If you are to lazy to make a fixture, below method also worked well. (Second C-clamp only for safety, rags to protect the fresh paint) Be aware of the right orientation of the leaf spring as they are not symetrical.

Re: Pininfarina badge remove

Kerry, again thanks a lot for your help. I checked this forum and your website picture encyclopedia but did not find anything related to my question. As you talk about dogleg panels I do not understand clearly what you mean (no native american english speaker). I assume you mean to strip rear seat a...

Pininfarina badge remove

Dear all, As I am facing a respray of my GT 330 Series2 it is for me not clear how the Pininfarina badges are attached. The parts manual does not identify if there are nuts or other type of fitting. So I have a ver y simple question: How to remove the Pininfarina badge behind the doors at the sill a...

Re: Rusty GTE

I did sodablasting at my 330 and I was very satisfied with the result. Especially when there is rust and undercoat. The undercoat disappeared perfectly at my car. The sodablasted surface was perfect for rust treatment and paint.

Gas filler neck ventilation hose

Dear all,

can anybody tell me (or pics) where the tank filler neck ventilation hose is conducted and where it ends. (GT330 Series2) I took pics over pics when disassembling, but when reassembling I miss this detail. I guess this does not only happen to me.

I appreciate any hint.

Re: Front Wheel Bearing Preload - 330GT

Dave, this was exactly my work the last 3 weeks. Lower king pin bearing worn, upper ok. So I did rechrome and regrind the lower section. Cory did spray welding for this repair butI am not sur if this withstands the high punctual pressure of a needle bearing. For this I deciced to use the harder chro...

Re: Front Suspension GT330

I decided to use bronze bushings from a standard supplier. Unfortunately when I gaged the parent bores for the bushes I found a very high variation from bore to bore. The range was betweenn 31,82 and 32,02mm Manufacturing was obviously not at a high precision level, but luckily the bores were rather...

Donor GT330

Here in the German Ebay obviously the remains of a donor cars are offered. No Chassis number, no engine. I guess this car will never come back on the road. Just usable in case of an accident for panels, frame tubes etc. GT330-Donor.JPG http://www.ebay.de/itm/201051967350?_trksid=p2055120.m1438.l2649...

Re: windshield washer bag

Cory,
the 1/2 liter washer bag and also the washer nozzles are even used at Fiat 500 Minicar. My GT330 Series 2 has a larger one. I guess at least 3/4l. But that one on Kerry´s pic looks pretty similar to Fiat 500.
