Re: More international fame for Tom Y

Their attribution must have added 25K pounds to the price! Tom, quickly, trademark your name.

Re: Cavallino 2012

Just returned from Florida - 77-82 degrees. Nice!

Now, I hope it hangs around for Cavallino as it has been nippy the last couple of years.

Tom Wilson, don't forget your camera. I need to update my screensaver!

Belated Happy Holidays everyone. :D

Re: Cavallino 2012

Zac, I think you're right about going to Cavallino without a car, at least partially. Maybe it's better to go with someone who takes a Ferrari. I went to FCA2008 and Cavallino with my car and FCA2009 (Elkhart Lake) without my car because, as Brother Dave Gardner used to say in the 60s, "It broke." ...

Re: its Done

:) Well done Mark! Proving once again vintage Ferraris are meant to be driven.

How about Azzuro Hyperion - PPG/Italver 2.443.648/106-A-32 - a more turquoise blue.

Cheers.

Re: Cavallino 2012

Hi John,

I plan to be there with my daughter again. I do not think at this moment my C/4 will make the trip but you never know.

Cheers,

Re: GTO 3647 at Monterey

Thanks Tom, wonderful post. I had only heard the exhaust notes of the 250's owned by a certain gentleman from Stamford, hearing the group brought shivers.

Re: Three 330 Americas for sale now

Interesting, judging by info from Kerry's website #4975 has moved only 133 miles since major work in 2002. Nine years in limbo, I hope someone was running it out occasionally or there could be "issues".

Re: Three 330 Americas for sale now

If it hits $350K or more I think we will feel a Wilsonian tremor on the West Coast . Makes all those loose parts look like bits of gold......

Re: Airport baggage

If you are spending time, a week or more, in any place, ship your bags. Postal Service, Fed Ex, whatever. Works like a charm. Send stuff 4-5 days before your departure and get on the plane without luggage. It might cost a bit more, but for us it has arrived always on time. Alert the hotel/inn they w...

Re: Mixed Feelings

Tom, Well said on describing the your catharsis. I agree on your comments about the award. I recently visited the Simeone Collection in Philadelphia. To my eye the best car there was the battered '64 Cobra Daytona Coupe prototype CSX2287. Just like it left the track, and it still runs fine. There is...
