Re: clutch drives me nuts - what is wrong here?
I was relooking at the photos abd the first one shown with 6 springs only has 6 splines as well. The other disks have 10 splines. Where did the 6 spline disk come from? Bob GTE 2693

What is wrong about the switch you have now? You are talking about the switch in the console, right?

Re: Front Suspension Details reguested
I think the key to the answer is to look at the threads on the item and see if it is drilled for a cotter pin. If there is no hole then a nylon locknut is called for. Bob Arthur GTE 2693

Tom: Any chance you want to share the source for the restoration of the plate? I know that is has not survived 55 years in that condition. Bob

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration
It would seem that, if the idle mixture screws do not have any effect, the fuel is coming from somewhere else, like a float valve not sealing. Engines do not run without fuel.

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration
Since three wires are not firing, it would seem to indicate the possibility that one set of points on the right hand bank is not working. Each set is responsible for three cylinders. Hope you resolve this soon. Bob A.

Re: GTE Fuel tank installation
In the post regarding the hose I bought from McMaster Carr, I put down the wrong size. I actually bought 2 1/8" or 54mm hose. That was too, small and 2 1/4" was too loose.
