interior light lens for 330gt 2+2

I needed lenses for my interior lights so I called one the major suppliers and they told me that they could make them at a cost of $300 per pair. At that cost I decided to make them myself, they came out good except some imperfection along the base which is not visible once installed do to original ...

Re: Switch clips needed

Also I reproduced the plastic body that holds the switch in place that has the pivot point for the switch, as you can see that the pivot point on the plastic body is broken therefore causing the switch to cock and get stuck in operation. If anyone has this problem and would like for me to try to fix...

Re: Switch clips needed

I made some clips by using clip nut #853 which is for ford headlamp to fender. I had to grind them for sizing and most important to file down lock tab on inside of short tab otherwise it would cause too much pressure on bezel when switch is pushed down into place.

driving one of these great machines

I feel like I have to share this with you guys after all the help you have given me. The past two years I've spent a couple thousand hours restoring my 330. I've had it on the road for about eight months but have had some issues. After rebuilding the motor to have a persisting water pump leak in whi...

Re: Importing a 365 2+2 SN 13959

I agree with Tom, they are 10 minutes from my house and every time I drive by, I'm amazed of all the exotics in their parking lot. Though mostly British cars. Good luck.

Re: fuel sending unit

I fixed the unit, the unit can come out from the rear deck after removing the round plate under the cover. Once I removed the sending unit, it had an inspection plate that you can remove by simply sliding it upwards about 1/4 inch, at that point it will come off. I then cleaned the contact and the w...

fuel sending unit

Hey guys, Happy New Year, winter is coming and I have a couple of items to address, one is the fuel sending unit on my 330. The low fuel light comes on but I can't get a reading. Does anyone know someone that rebuilds these units? The other thing I have to do is install some seat belts and I also or...

Re: heater

by looking at the picture of your heater valve, I noticed a part missing, there's supposed to be an arm coming off the center of your valve where the control cable attaches to open and close the valve. I would send you a picture but I have problems uploading pictures on this sight. If you need a pic...

Re: heater

the heater valve at the firewall might be clogged, it's possible that the diaphragm is bad but first make sure that the valve opens and closes. They are available. After the car is warmed up, the heater hoses should get warm as the water runs through, if there's no circulation you won't have any heat.

Re: water pump leakage

As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, the seal I got from Partsource was not the correct one, it was too small and it will get damaged when you tighten the impeller down. The right one for my car came from GT. My car is one of the later ones so I'm not sure of what you have, so be sure to me...

Re: Rubber donut Question

You are probably right about the motor, but the vibration is not on rpm, but at speed because if I shut the motor off while at speed, the vibration is still there. I ordered a new donut and I'm going to have the driveshaft balanced, I also noticed that my mag wheels and tires were not balanced right...

Re: Rubber donut Question

Hey guys, I also have a driveline vibration above 40 mph, I see that
Art was working on this problem and I was wondering what the outcome was. The rubber donut seams to be in good shape but it's hard to replicate the problem on jack stands. Any suggestions.

Re: A big step forward for 4247 GT

Great to see progress guys, I have to say that making progress was the most exciting part of the restoration and I know that Zac is the man to have. Talk about stories with handbrake being released, I had a heart stopping experiance two weeks ago. I was winching the car off the trailer and all of a ...
