Re: 330 GTC window switch
I recieved the switch yesterday so it was a quick 1 day turnaround. As suspected, it needed to be disassembled, contacts cleaned and tightened up. Installed it last night and works like a champ! Charge was a 1 hr shop rate, which considering the alternatives of trying to find a replacement, was reas...

Re: 330 GTC window switch
Thanks for taking the time to show your switch and posting all the pictures. However, the 330 GTC switch looks different from those in your picture. Yours are 'rocker' style while the GTC has a tab that sticks up in the middle that you use to push up/down. I do think it's a matter of cleaning the co...

Re: 330 GTC window switch
I found out today that Patrick Otis Co. in Berkeley rebuilds these so off it went.

330 GTC window switch
Hi, My electric window switch stopped working. Does anyone know if these are rebuilt and if so, any recommendations? Or, are reproductions the way to go and if so, where to buy. This is the standard black switch with a chrome rectangle bezal with FISPA on one side and DUCELLIER on the other. Also, c...

Re: 33GTC Suspension
Last Saturday a group of us old Ferrari folks (old Ferraris, that is, not old drivers) set out for a picnic to the wine country. A few of us noticed one of the 330GTC’s in the group being lopsided. At a pit stop we looked around and guess what we spotted. The very problem Tom pointed out in his lat...

Re: 330 GTC emergency triangle
My GTC has a 2 bag tool kit often times associated with the pictures shown for a 365 GT 2+2. I have heard that tool bags for the GTC were either a single bag as pictured in the owners manual or a 2 bag kit that looks like the 365 GT 2+2. I assume it would have had the triangle but you do bring up an...

330 GTC emergency triangle
The tool kit for my GTC is missing the emergency triangle in the plastic case. I've since come to find out that there are different colored cases in the market. Does anyone know or have an original triangle with their car and can tell me the proper color case to pursue? I've seen blue, red, yellow a...

Tools for 330 GTC
Apologize in advance as I'm sure this has been asked before. I'm looking to complete my tool bag and to do so, would need a lead hammer, pliers, wedge, reflective triangle and container with blubs and fuses. I see from the page on this website that covers tools that there were 3 different hammers, s...

Re: Hose Clamps for 330 GTC
Great, thanks for the advice. After seeing this, I googled copiglia clamps ferrari to see what they looked like and got all kinds of hits; many referring me to prior threads from this site, kerry's and ferrarichat. Never ceases to amaze me 1) what Google digs up 2) what info is out there already. Ne...

Hose Clamps for 330 GTC
I have some left over Cheney hose clamps from my 60's Jaguar cars and had heard that these were also used on Ferrarris. Is that true? I have a '67 330 GTC with modern style hose clamps so was wondering if the Cheney clamps would be OEM correct before attempting to swap them out.
Thanks, Tom

Re: 330 GTC emergency hood release cable
I ran in to this same problem on my car after the regular release cable broke. It is where the others are saying. If it's not there, you should check your hood release catch to see if you see a stranded cable disappearing in to the fire wall. I eventually replace the broken cable with one sourced fr...

Re: 330 GTC rear deck removal for speaker install
Tom,
No problem. I can lift up the panel slightly and clearly see 2 nuts holding the lever in place but no room to slide a wrench in there so it seems like I will have to disconnect the cable to the fuel filler door in the trunk. I'll take a closer look at it this weekend when I have more time.

330 GTC rear deck removal for speaker install
Greetings, I'm trying to install speakers in the stock location on the rear parcel deck of my GTC. I have removed the buttress that's across the back that meets the carpet and rear deck but the rear deck padding does not want to lift out. The left side is free, but the right side appears to be attac...
