Replacement Fuse Box

Anyone replaced their fuse box with a more modern blade box? Other than it not being OEM for show, seems like a worthwhile modification to improve reliability and address the limited availability of the old bullet fuses. Any pitfalls, cautions or other thoughts?

I am trying to figure out what it in the gap/space between your leather shelf and the rear window. Is it a strip covered in black leather, some defroster piece or is it something else? Kerry,

The 330 GT certainly rides much higher to the ground that many modern ferraris. Is the pan essential to the running of the car?
