Congrats

Tom, Just wanted to say congrats, and your car looks sooooo much better with the grill installed. The grill itself was a clever project. Also regarding the coil failing on one side and thus leaving the engine running on 6 ... could this also be a potential cause for hydraulic'ing an engine, ie. if o...

Brake pads

You do NOT need to go through a Ferrari place, etc. to purchase brake pads. Just remove your pads and take them to a brake shop. They will be able to match the pad backing plate with the millions of different designs. If you need to keep using your Ferrari, then trace around the backing plate on to ...

Guys: I don't think the problem is in the position of the plate, it's in the usage of the car. Take a look at where the plate is mounted relative to the accelerator pedal travel. In deciding where to mount the plate, the factory obviously envisioned much more time spent with the driver's foot press...

BTW I'm reading those results as 6% indicating a 6% drop thus 94% of the original pressure was NOT lost, as this is very good.

Are you talking about a 275 GTS with a 4 mount engine and open drive-shaft in comparison to a 330 GTS with a 2 mount engine and torque tube? I thought that even cars such as the 250GT 2+2 had 4 motor mounts even with the gearbox connected to the rear of the engine. This is the alignment I was talki...

4 versus 2 motor mounts

Alignment would be very tricky with 4 motor mounts, and I assume another for the gearbox. I imagine (but do not know) that this is why Ferrari changed to 2 motor and 1 gearbox to make the usual (modern) 3 point mount system, allows for larger inaccuracies, etc. How do you check the alignment and fit...
