interior cleaning

Am in the process of going over my interior 1972 365gtc4. Having the seat recovered by Frank at East coast . The rest of the leather is in great condition just needs a good cleaning, my question is about the material covering the top of the dash and the package tray under the rear window.I do not know if this is old mouse hair that has lost the fuzz or if it is a different material, it is in fine condition and I do not want to replace it. I almost has a parchment feel to it . Should I clean and treat as ordinary leather? Grateful for any input, thanks .

I Think this stuff is synthetic, and should probably be brushed with a soft brush, and left alone.
