Wish mine was on the road. I would join you to represent the 70's. See you soon.

My trip will be a tad less adventurous, but I will be there and am looking forward to seeing all of you.

Tom, Mark and Tom.

Have a great trip guys and be safe, I am so envious of you guys doing it right especially as I put my cars in an enclosed transporter.

See ya in Florida

Just got a call from Tim Stanford and my car will be ready tomorrow! They are just waiting on a horn button but he said the car is running great! My car has had some tunning issues for some time and I am looking foward to driving her now that she will be 100%. Lets just hope that I can afford the repairs! I hope to see some of you guys at the guest lecture series on Thursday. Maybe we can all do lunch afterward???

Good news Ramses. I'll see you Thursday.

Although I'm registered for the whole event, I have not decided if I'm going on the "tour" portion of Thursday that begins after the lecture. I usually like to get a nice relaxing lunch. We'll see. First I have to get through the lecture presentation!

Tom,

The Palm Beach Tour and Jet Party ticket includes an hour and half lunch on the terrace at the Breakers.

I still have to decide if I'm going on the tour with my car. South Florida roads are known more for being pin straight than anything resembling a curve!

Just got the GTB from Tim Stanford on Friday. The car is running strong and pulling like a freight train. It still makes a small hiccup sound at times but it does not affect driveability. It was a big bill....15 hours of labor (ouch!)

About lunch if we decide to go....there is nice place across from the breakers or we can go to Taboo: http://www.taboorestaurant.com/
Taboo is a Palm beach institution and only a few minutes away. In any case, I plan on going to the track after lunch.

Surviving the breakers on a budget

About parking at the Breakers....its like $20-25 for valet or they let you self park if you have a ferrari in the Ferrari pen. In the past if you purchase anything at the hotel stores they waive the $20-$25 after validation. For the last couple of years I have bought my son a Lacoste shirt (about $30 at the childrens store in the court yard) and I saved the parking fee.

Water, its $10 a bottle (Fidgi). It is not a bad idea to bring your own water in a small cooler (keep it in the car).

Just my 2 cents for those of us who are spending challenged....

We are all spending challenged. We are owners of old Ferrari which keep us poor but we wouldn't have it any other way. We are a stange breed. Enjoy Cavellino on a budget.
