Tom I cant be the only one out here waiting to here about the progress on your grill. Perhaps you could have Dave give perodic updates just prior to the top 10 list.

Are you crazy man?! Don't you realize that completion of the grille could be the end of this restoration diary! Where will you all go for your weekly fix of Ferrari Fridays? More importantly, what will I do?

...but seriously, I got an update from Mark today on my grille. He had a family emergency, so had to put some work aside, and deal with it for about a week, but is now back at work. Unfortunately, he said he would call me next week when it's done. What this means is I won't be able to pick it up for another two weeks!

no offense to MuiraMan but if this grill stays near a hundred bucks let's chip in and buy it for Tom. Who hasn't gotten their money's worth from tomyang.net?

I'm in for twenty bucks,

I will go along with John in CT. Hope that Tom does not use the possible flood of cash to fund another dream car restoration.

Thanks for the offer guys! Unfortunately, $40 bucks won't buy it and Muiraman (AKA Shaughnessy) has much deeper pockets. Besides, I suspect on close inspection, this grille is as corroded as my original one.

as all of you guys know, these are hand made cars and each grille has a assembly number stamped in it to show that each grille has been fitted to its respective car. Who is willing to fit that grill to Tom's car which has all that nice new paint?
