When the 2HL cars first came out, Pininfarina must have had a large supply of the old dashes available. They were used in the 2HL models(which started with 7553) until somewhere between 8245 and 8283. Right hand drive cars as late as 8685 are known to have the old style dash.
2HL cars ordered with A/C during this time got the new dash as it was designed to accomodate the A/C.

Another piece of almost useless information on 330 GTs is that the steering wheel on the power steering equipped models is smaller in diameter than the manual steering ones. Presumably the smaller wheel can be used since less effort is required with the power assist.
