Hi Mark,

Welcome to the board. I hope some of the British owners can help you see some of their floors to guide you on your fabrication, but you might try a separate post on this topic, so your question doesn't get lost with this thread.

later cars did use fiberglass floors, but when it actually happened is never precise. I would guess since it was a RHD car, it was easier to fabricate a floor from steel than modify fiberglass molds for your car at the Pininfarina factory.

my series one is all steel apart from grp gearbox cover.you could look at mine as the carpet is out but your miles away.looks like lots of small sections between the tubes some forming deep wells in the rear for foot room
