Saw this in ClassicCars magazine:
"Owners of right-hand drive, UK-supplied Ferraris can now access the original documentation for the cars, such as factory orders and original invoices. Ferrari specialist Avro Motor Cars has taken on custodianship of Ferrari's archive covering UK right-hand drive cars from 1960 until the early Nineties. 'It was all boxed up, sitting in a corner. It could easily have been chucked into a skip' says Avro's Mark Hawkins. If you supply Avro with your car's chassis number, bound copies of the relevant file can be made. Prices for the service start from 50 euros, subject to the file's contents. To contact Avro Motor Cars, call: 01932 352220, or see: www.avromotorcars.co.uk."
Sounds cool. Wish this find had been in the U.S.!

Kelly and I just received a large envelope from the guy in the UK for her 365GT 2+2 containing lots of correspondence back and forth between the first owner (a gruff sounding Yorkshireman) and Maranello Concessionaires. Fascinating reading, he must have been a hell of a customer to deal with! Cost us 150 pound STG, but great to have the ability to get such information still. He traded in a DB5 Aston for the 365, then sent a letter to complain that it wasn't as fast to 60mph, 100mph and 120mph as the Aston was! Maranello politely offered to test it for him the next time he brought the car in...
