Art: Lie down, don't get up until the urge passes. Besides, I have by very good authority next week some air from the Ferrari plant in the 50s will be auctioned, absolutely essential for concurs correct XWX inflation. Michael Bayer

If the feeling doesn't pass, and you have some money left over after Christmas shopping, I have the same box in my garage, oily papers and all, that, I'll sell you for a quarter of the bid. However, the boxes have Champion plugs in them. I probably used these back in the 60,s. I have a posting on the FAF website, regarding these plugs, and gap problems. On second thought, with these insane prices, maybe I'll list them on Ebay: how about under Ferrari momentos.

I don,t know about that racing stuff.

Sell the box and you can keep the plugs. I can spell NGK.

I wouldn't bother to buy them for use, just to put them on the shelf. That said, there are many ways to spend $250+. A key maybe...just kidding.

All of my money goes to the Francois fund. :)

If anyone needs a sign that we are entering another bubble, I think this is it ~$100 per sparkplug, just because the outer cardboard box says Ferrari on it. Makes those Nieman keys seem cheap.

Just imagine what the price would be if the box was marked Mopar Hemi.

Cheaper by the dozen, not quite. I am not sure of the availabilty of these plugs are but I would have to think that this is a unique find. There are still five days left and we most likely have not seen the end just yet. Like Art, I am intriqued by the rarity as a real period item. There is no logic to this as we all know, just supply and demand.

Besides, the mopar box would only have eight plugs.
