I called Hagerty two weeks ago and without hesitation they raised my agreed-value coverage from $60K to $80K.
All indicators show up and I'm well in the black on my car, but still not nearly enough to consider major restoration steps...the idea is to keep making mechanical and detail improvements; those are restoration dollars too.

330 GT 2+2 s/n 8095
I was very interested in this car and was bidding in the $40,000-$55,000 range...when all of a sudden $94,500 'Buy It Now' took it:-( My Maserat Khamsin has gone to a buyer in CT who saw it at Concorso Italiano and at the Ferrari of Seattle meet. It took me 5 years to get the Khamsin in pristine condition, while all the time running with the Ferrari Club and looking for a well sorted out 330 GT 2+2 car. I am very cautious of buying a vintage V12 Ferrari that ends up spending more time in the service bay than on the road, so I want a good car with a great engine. Has anyone got a lead on a 250 or 330 GT 2+2 with a Shelby or other V8 conversion that could appease and amuse me while my search for the right engined 330 GT car shows up? Jim <jcollingridge@tru.ca>

Will $55k actually buy even an ok four headlight car right now?jcollingridge wrote:I was very interested in this car and was bidding in the $40,000-$55,000 range...when all of a sudden $94,500 'Buy It Now' took it:-( My Maserat Khamsin has gone to a buyer in CT who saw it at Concorso Italiano and at the Ferrari of Seattle meet. The big problem I see in buying a vintage V12 Ferrari nowadays is that you can't be cautious and take your time or someone will come in and snap it up. The supply of these cars is dwindling and the number of buyers is not. If this ebay auction result is legit, the market is getting crazy and panic buying is setting in...
