I think these plugs sell for about $50 bucks used. Anybody can confirm this? If they need rechroming, that'll add to the cost. If we have a few made up, it'll probably be cheaper. I know I'll eventually need 4 of them!

metallurgist consult, please?
re: plugs
With that attitude, we would all be driving Corollas. We need a challenge, an occasional frustration. I would have learned nothing about metals if just bough them. Besides, chances of finding non-rusty clips are near zero. The plugs themselves, sure...

re: plugs
I wanted to thank Andrew for doing up a perfect facsimile of the clips. I recently installed them, and they do not seem to want to fall out.
Thanks again !

I've finally caught up with myself and am moving forward on past projects. I have posted the print for the jack plug clips similar to Luke's for those with access to metal forming tools, or a buddy in a machine shop (Tom?). A quote on this piece is coming, but is not a top priority for the shops so I'm not going to bug them as this is a favor. I'll post as soon as I get some numbers. I have the radii set at 0.813" (~20mm) to match the tube, can someone with some calipers verify this dimension?
