I will be posting information on the Fall Party today or tomorrow. It will be held in Stamford NY, in the Catskills. Mike (Afwrench) is hosting it this year. He's got a couple of garages on his property, and a four post lift that I think we're going to use to look underneath some Ferraris! Make you plans now for the 21st of October, and there's room to stay over night if you want. Details to follow!

Hi guys and gals. Looks like my place is it for the party. As Tom said I have a guest house and lots of room for those who want to stay over or even come on Friday if your traveling a long way . I can also provide garage parking for 6 cars for those who may want to be sure the baby is safe. Please email or PM me with any questions , concerns or even " dietary restictions". First come first served on the beds at my place although special consideration may be given to those driving particularly cool cars! Looking foward to seeing many of you. Regards Mike

Hi Guys,

Ron Schmoll had a great idea for the party. Anyone who has any extra Ferrari parts should bring them along for an impromtu swap meet. I know I have some parts kicking around my shop up for trade or sale!

As I'm flying, I can't bring much to the swap meet. But I can bring some of my repro oil filter wrenches to sell or swap if there is any interest.

$165 each or swap for ?

Assuming I make it up (looking good so far...) I'll bring up lighting stuff, spot lights, fog lights, headlights - mostly used, but some NOS - assuming I find the box they are stored in.

Regards,

Art S.

PS. Kerry, as long as it's not liquid, you can bring it in the carry-on. Don't you have a spare trans or something? ;)

If anyone needs/wants a new pair of front springs for a 330, which does not have the extra weight of A/C, P/S, I can bring them to Tom's party. Let me know.
I bought them from FAF years ago, installed them when the front end was renovated, but had to get a stiffer set made. The car had a posture like a hound dog sniffing along the trail. (that was another thread)
Cheers

Hi guys, as the get together draws closer I have given Tom directions to my place from N,S,E,W. He will no doubt simplify and post them. If however there is any confusion drop me an email and I will do my best to clarify. Include your phone # if you would like and Ill be happy to call. Looks like we will have a real contest for the longest traveler this year! Looking foward to seeing both old and new faces. Regards Mike

Gentlemen,

What time are the festivities beginning tomorrow? Also, are we planning anything (drive, etc.) for Sunday? I have not yet made any reservations.

I plan to attend but it is my understanding that Francois (and Tom) didn't finish my car in time for the event! Oh well, I'll bring the M3 I'm restoring for my wife (only one bank of 6, not two!).

Gentlemen,

I'm sorry I didn't make it to the gathering. The car was ready to go (with a trunk full of vintage lights - mostly marchal). Unfortunately I woke up with a killer migraine and was unable to travel.

I hope the gathering went well and am sorry I missed it.

Well it was a great time Art, Francois and Coco Chinetti both came driving GTO's and let us all drive them! I really want to say a big thank you to Mike and his wonderful family. It was a great gathering and they were fantastic hosts, Parker's BBQ was the best. Thank you Tom, (and Francois for bringing those GTO's). Yale

We did miss you Art.

And to answer your quiery in another forum, my car was fine until it got over the George Washington Bridge and then all hell broke loose, so no it has not stopped be interesting. I think the only thing that got it to the garage was the grim reaper image of a certain TS with black shroud and scyth that appeared by the side of the road. Maybe it is just too close to Holloween. A lovely gathering. Lovely people, lovely cars. Mike's place is gorgeous, he almost has enough garage space...

On the way home, route 23 from Stamford to I-87 is a great driver's road -- though my right foot was cramping a little bit trying to maintain pace with Yale.

What a great time!!!

I want to thank everyone for coming, and Mike and Marie for hosting this year's party at their wonderful home. It was great to see some old friends and meet some new ones. We really have a special collection of people here.

I'm writing a post about the party, but first I have to recover from all the talking and, er...drinking!

If you guys have some pictures, use the picture tutorial to post them to this thread!
