best source for Cibie H4 headlights
Think I'd like to put some 7" Cibie (or Hella) unsealed beams in my 330 GTC, if I ever find another headlamp bezel! Years ago I had these very nice (as my old memory recalls) Z-beam Cibies. Any idea where I'd get a pair at a good price? Looks like some repros are on eBay. thanx steve

Thanks for the info. I never got to see the Marchals or other Cibies,
but I really liked the light pattern and visibility with the Carellos.

We still have a set on my Dad's truck. Cibie, with a 'Z' sticker in the
center of the lens, the reflector/lens unit is sealed with an H4
element in the back. I'm going totally from memory since the box and
receipts are long gone, but I was pretty certain they were called 'Z'
something, and they definitely have the little glass bubble between the
H4 and the interior.

Steve,
You might try Fred Petroskie athttp://www.mostlybritish.com or Paul Baber athttp://www.racecar.co.uk/paulbaber/Index.htm for trim ring. I had good luck on 330 2+2 parts through Fred and Baber shows a box of trim rings.
Good hunting.

thanx for the quick responses. I haven't gotten a bezel yet, but I think one of the list members may have rounded (pun intended) up two of them for me. Neither Baber nor Petroske had a bezel, tho' Petroske was bidding against me for one on eBay (ultimately, neither of us got it). Think I'll email Stern. thanx again. s

Steve,
I have the Carello H4s, I think they are the best of the H4s models, mounted (they were NOS when I put them on a few years ago). I just bought a set of Marchal Ampliluxes (double H1 bulbs). If they produce the effect I like, I may be willing to part with my H4 lights.
Regards,
Art S.
