67 330 GTC

Post by enio45 »

Did anyone see this on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 176&rd=1,1

This went for 133K .....i was under the impression that these cars are now bringing in the 160K range....does anyone know this car and was there some issues with it to not pull more money?

I unfortunately saw this too late to ask questions, but at this price, i would have been in the running for a GTC........I see Tom S was in at 125 for the car as well??

What do you all think . . or am i out of touch with the GTC market??

I almost put in a last-minute just for fun $135K bid, thinking it would skyrocket anyway. Things would be interesting around here had I done so.

Ed, I too, was following that 330 GTC. Sounded like a very nice car and the seller seemed honest. I thought it was well bought, having seen a white GTC sell at Christie's in August for $145K + commission and it wasn't that nice and didn't have A/C. White doesn't do much for that car. steve

I think you should have sprung for it, even if it was missing a headlamp bezel, 'cause you've got an inside track on those! That's the sort of car I really like to buy...from the owner, with the car and books readily available for inspection, which this seller welcomed. Had it been a comparably priced Aston Martin DB4 or a Daytona, I'd had to get a good bottle of wine to put my wife in the right frame of mind for a serious discussion! s
