i was at classic auto today (turino, Italy) looking around for something that may be available for a resto project. They took me out back to show me a real nice 250 body only.....sheet metal was solid and perfect.
They said, body, glass and most interior for 10K Euro. IF anyone is interested, let me know and ill send you the phone number.
The had another 250 customer car- asking 175K euro - was way too much...its been there a while..also a 365GT . ....said they wanted a fast sale 50K euro. They had a number of project cars, lancia , fiat Zagato, and some fiat 500's.

Shell only, but he did say he has all the glass and interior...i did not see the interior, but there was a few pieces in the trunk...and i image all needed redone. No chassis so you need a frame and motor and all the trim. It really needs to be laid out to see what there..they has shit everywhere, so very tough to determine whats missing....but it was a real nice orig body..
I forget what their customer used the chassis and motor for, but the plan was to restore this car, and at the last min they decided to rebody it.

As you may know almost all body parts carry a body number on the backside. It may be hard to spot on a complete car/body, but as soon as the car is taken into parts, the numbers are every where. On GT/E the easiest place to spot the body number is on bonnet, the number is at the locking mechanism. If the interior is apart, it can also be found handwritten on the backside of each interior part.
It would be interesting to know what became of that car...
Best wishes, Kare
