WANTED: 250 GT Lusso
Texas has it easy. 8.9% in Washington. Jon Shirley's assistant tells of going over to the local licensing bureau with a cashier's check for several hundred thousand dollars when Jon's GTO was registered. The staff had never handled a several million dollar car before.

Re: WANTED: 250 GT Lusso (NO MORE)
As Lusso's have broken through $500,000 and a few are fetching $600,000 they are officially long out of reach for me. So I bought what I call a "baby 250GT SWB" -- an OSCA 1600 GT Zagato. At 1700 pounds (thanks to the Zagato aluminum "double bubble" coachwork) and the 145hp engine -- compliments of the Maserati brothers, it offers a nice tidy package with FIA papers.
Oh well, the Lusso will have to remain a screen saver
