Hi Sam,

Very interesting

I wonder how many of those you could buy from Tom S.

Regards,

Art S.

PS. What do you think of the price your old 330 sold for?

Hi Art,

Watched Tom on TV last night in a show that has been around highlighting "barn finds". They had a neat shot of him in front of one of his storage units. Would have been fun to freeze the frame and count how many cars you could make from the parts inside. I have never met the man, although have dealt with him on a couple of occasions for bits and pieces. Nice fellow and the passion cetainly does show through. I am suprised he has not made a run for this part........ maybe it is as you say, lots in storage, or it's him selling under a new nom de plume.

The price for old # 8025 seemed spot on to me. The high end of the estimated range. Mechanically almost perfect, body, paint, interior getting a little worn. I just hope she found a good home and does not become a 250 GTO clone.

Best,

Sam

Tom S. still could use a frame for that Devin he discovered. Think of the possibilities of barn find recycling.

William,

I do not know the name of the show or channel, I just happened to catch it while flipping and did not have a chance to watch it for long as I got a phone call . I do know it was not the Speed Channel. Maybe someone here or on Ferrarichat can fill in the blanks?

Sorry.

I Think it was a show on Outdoor life Channel (OLN) or something. There are so many channels it's hard to keep track!

Kerry had a copy of it on DVD at the first tomyang.net party.

I believe the show was called "Classic Car Hunters". I had a copy on my DVR until recently.
