2007 Tomyang.net East Coast Fall Gathering

Post by tyang »

Hello All!

Like there aren't enough Ferrari Events to attend, I'm planning a third annual tomyang.net East Coast Party.

Bill Pollard has agreed to host it at his shop in Gaylordsville, CT, and it should be the best party yet. The plan is to use his three lifts to put cars up and inspect anyone who brings them, or to display whatever he has at the shop. Here's your chance to visit Sport Auto, see some Ferraris up close and under them, not to mention meet some of the people who frequent this site on the East Coast.

I'm going to nail down a date with Bill on Monday, but I'm thinking of either the first or second Saturday of October. Any thoughts?

Ditto for me - The 13th is out, my grandson is having his Eagle Scout Ceremony in Phoenix. The first weekend also works.

Apparently the little faces that you can choose from on the left of the screen when writing a post don’t actually display when you use them…

I've nailed down a date with Bill Pollard. This year it will be a held at Sport Auto in Gaylordsville, CT. It's a shop that I've recently started working for, and will be a great place for car enthusisasts to come and see some great cars! Here's the info:

Where: Sport Auto by Bill Pollard
Gaylordsville, CT 06755

The exact street address will follow.

When: Saturday, October 27, 2007 11am unil?

What: A party for anyone interested in Vintage Ferraris and tomyang.net

Bill's shop has two lifts that we plan on using much like last year's party. Bring your car, and we'll get it up on the lift to see what's going on underneath. We'll also have some interesting Ferraris to show as well. As we develop the activities for the day, we may even select certain cars to discuss specific differences between models. Be prepared to learn about Vintage Ferraris!

If you have any suggestions, or questions about this party, please feel free to e-mail me! Don't miss this party!

I am hoping Tom will change this date....yeeesh, it was either of the first two weekends at the beginning of the month and now it's the one weekend in October when I am gone, (in Spain). Maybe the Farmers Almanac says the last weekend in October always has rain. Yale

...so you're trying to wish a rain out for my party?!

There's plenty of room indoors so rain will not affect the party!

No I'm not wishing for rain on your party I'm wishing the date becomes untenable because of outside causes and hence you'd move it up a weekend...or something like that. Yale
