Hello all,

Chuck (67GTC) recently was diagnosed with a fast moving cancer in his brain, just had it surgically removed, and is recovering. The good news is they caught it early, and with some post-op treatment, he should make a full recovery. My thoughts are with him, and I hope to hear he's back in his GTC tearing up the roads in So. Cal soon!

Chuck sent me some PMs to meet him at the Quail. I saw his fabulous GTC there and the Rose Bowl show.

Get back behind the wheel, Chuck!

Best wishes,

I called Chuck this morning. He seems in good spirits and is looking forward to gettng back home. No complications at this point, which is the good news. I mentioned that we are all thinking of him.

Chuck, Best of luck for a fast and permanent recovery. One of my best friends had a brain cancer that started in his lungs...that was 6 years ago and he's still teaching our residents and practicing medicine. Here's hoping his good fortune will spill over to you! Besides, I'm sure to need your expert advice again in the future. steve

Boy, I just spoke to Chuck 2 weeks ago about going to Tom's October event. Things do happen fast, don't they.... I have a call into Chuck to wish him well and will let you guys know if there is anything new.

Good luck Chuck, we are rooting for you!

I want to personally thank each of you for your kind words and thoughts during my very recent illness. My progress is going astonishingly well. The world-class neurosurgury team at UCLA headed by Dr. Lazeroff performed a miracle and was able to release me to home convelescence late yesterday.

I can't tell you how much your support means to me and my family at this trying time.

It may interest you vintage Ferrari fellows that part of my release involves taking the eminent Dr. Jackson at UCLA, who is a huge vintage Ferrari fan on a run up the coast once I am cleared to drive again.

Thanks Everyone!

Hi Chuck,

I'm so glad you're on the road to recovery! Now the doctor has even more incentive to make sure you get well soon!

|Hey Chuck, when you take that drive make sure you go as fast as possible . Should you get pulled over you can say that it is part of your rehab. Mike

Even better, get him to write a prescription saying a fast cruise as freqently as possible vastly improves "motor skills" :>)

Great news and best of luck on continued recovery.

Hey, Chuck-

It seems I don’t log in often enough, but I guess it’s good news at this point. Congratulations on your Ferrari-istic (meaning very fast) recovery. It looks like driving your GTC is the perfect incentive…

All the best,

Michael

Hey Chuck - I'm delighted to hear the very positive news thus far. I'm looking forward to clinking a wine glass with you next August or hopefully sooner.

Hey SuperDave!

We'll be having that lovely old red just as soon as I'm off the scarier of the meds.

Great to hear from you!
