Anybody got a spare or have any good leads on one?

Both the early and late parts books say it is Borletti #50.0530.990.0

Last one on e-bay 6mnd ago ended up with T.Shauganessy. Auction price: $ 575,-

Fred Petrosky at www.mostlybritish.com offerd one aboth a year ago.

Nr 1 on mechanical parts for a 365 twin cam in the US is Geoff at www.ferrariparts.com

This sounds like something you should try to order from Classique (however you spell it). If they are making parts they should be able to make some of these and have them cost less then TS paid on ebay. Anyway let us know what they say. Thanks. Yale

If the cost of Classique certification is any indication, it will probably cost the same, but the Classique part will be blessed by the factory!

|I got one from Ferrari |UK for my C4 . Dont know if it is the same . |A repro but a nice piece. Did have to do a bit of modification on it though. Mike

Thanks for the info, Mike. Does your C4 parts book quote the Borletti part number for the angle drive -- the one for the 365 GT 2+2 is Borletti number 50.0530.990.0?

I did send an inquiry to Ferrari Classiche and I will report what they say.

Jim , the part # is not the same. Mine is 50.0557.990, as mine is a Euro car and has one distributor this along with a different base may be why. I spoke with Bill at Ferrari UK and he seems to know his stuff. I had the TAV page and the illustration # ,in my case TAV42 part #4 and he knew what I needed. The phone # is 011 44 1784 43622 this includes the international codes. Good luck , Mike BTW as if you did not know it is not a cheap piece but it was the best price I found even with the shipping.

The tach drive from a C4 will not work on a 365 2 cam motor. The cams on a C4 spin in the opposite direction from those on a 2 cam motor, so the gears in the tach drive are different so the tach cable will spin in the correct direction. The tach drive from a C4 will only work on a 275 4 cam or a 365 Daytona motor.

You need a tach drive from a 275/330/365 2 cam motor.
