Everyone,

Pease wish my baby brother, Tom Yang, a very happy 40th birthday! Born 12/22/67; and, yes, his Ferrairi is older than he!!

Happy Birthday, Tom.

40 is a big deal, I kind of remember it way back there somewhere.

How embarassing! I could either forgive my big sister, or announce her birthday and age when it arrives in a couple of weeks!

So far, 40 has been fine. I have a great family, a new job that I love even more than my last one, a Ferrari in my garage, and friends across the world. What's there to complain about?

I look forward to what the next 40 has in store!

Thanks everyone.

well heck, Tom, you share a birthday w/ the Admiral (who turned 72 today). We celebrated by me giving him a vintage helmet painted to match Eugenio Castellotti's helmet from late 1955. I finished it off by spending about 10 minutes turning the grinding stone by hand on the Mondial's valve seats (the Lampredi design doesn't allow for using a drill or 3500rpm grinder since there is no removable "head") - your hand cramps up after about 10 minutes . . .

Happy Birthday, punk

40 is the new 30 so you have nothing to worry about Tom. Your sister got one over on you so now it's your turn. Happy Birthday!

Thanks to everyone for their birthday wishes. I'm usually pretty quiet about my birthday, but I guess the cat's out of the bag! I'm just going have to figure out a way to get back at my sister for announcing it!

"I can still do the work of someone half my age!" he boasts, while holding a Lampredi engine block in each arm...

Congratulations Tom, sad to say I beat you by 20 years!

BTW, our daughter used to say that she beat up on her little brother to "toughen him up!" Be nice to your sister, she has your well being at heart..........

Trust me Tom, it's not so bad! Today I enter the last year of my 40's and even though there have been a challenges, the 40's have been very good to me. After all, I got my GTE in my 40's (though I will be in my 50's before it runs)! For you, the 40's will be filled with a new career, watching your beautiful daughter grow up, a house, a lovely wife and friends all over the planet. Not a bad life, if I do say so myself...

Happy birthday, Tom ! All the best and congrats on the accomplishments so far. The second forty will fly twice as fast, now that you have a fam and a completed resto !
I reached the same, ahem...milestone this summer. Instead of a celebration I went for an age defying bike ride (100 miles in the hilly wine country).
