'Poly-Slide':afwrench wrote:Restoration Supply lists some in their catalog .Dont know if this is what you need but they have alot of neat stuff. Mike
Channel shaped poly sheets inserts between spring leaves for a permanent smooth ride. Thickness .040” 20 foot roll only.
1-3/4” LUB016 $11.50
Spring Width 2” LUB017 $12.75
2-1/4” LUB018 $15.00
Their website is www.RestorationStuff.com, page 37 of the PDF catalog.
I've never used this, so don't know if the 2" would work or not, but the price is quite reasonable. Most of these places will send a sample if you ask.
Regards, Kerry

Thanks Kerry. The Poly Slide stuff has a "U" shaped cross section. The Ferrari liner has an "I" shaped cross section. It is roughly 2"x0.055". The vintage Vettes and Chevy's use the "I" shaped one as well, though I do not know if the dimensions are the same as the Ferrari's. Will start the search tomorrow.330GT wrote:'Poly-Slide':afwrench wrote:Restoration Supply lists some in their catalog .Dont know if this is what you need but they have alot of neat stuff. Mike
