Borranis for my 330 GTC

Post by Steve Meltzer »

I'm thinking about biting the bullet on a set of Borranis, #4039, for my '66 GTC. When I spoke with David Reed from Dragone Classics at PB in August of '07, he quoted me $1566/wheel, but I didn't buy them. When I inquired the other day, I nearly stroked out...they were $2200/each + "duty" of $250 and shipping...sit down now, of $1200! (not a typo, $1200)

Needless to say, I'm now looking for a better price or a nice used set. Any leads here? steve meltzer “I may be wrong, but I’m never in doubt”

He didn't have any and, in fact, was looking for two sets. So I can stand up now. s

Steve,

I have a aquaintance in town that used to have a GTC, he had a spare set of wheels, next time I see him, I'll see if he still has it (it may be a while before I run into him though).
