oval head, straight slot ,metric machine screws

Post by matt »

I am having a difficult time locating interirior trim screws. The ones I am looking for are used to hold the sun visors, rear view mirror, and inside chrome door latch on a 275gtb. These are not the same as the ones used to hold the leather /vinyl panels which I have found at re-originals. I have looked everywhere.... This same style are on British cars but are not metric. Any help would be appreciated, matt.

Matt,

Try Newco Products in Chatsworth, California. They have many of the
interior fasteners needed for our cars. Check out their site at:
www.newcoproducts.com

They supply to many Ferrari restoration shops as well.

Rudy: Thank you for the reply. I will not do business with them anymore. Anyone else?

I need a couple of the tiny screws that hold on my shiny trim on my drip gutter.

Anybody know where I can get those?

I go down this road everyday, Newco has some things no one else seems to carry, however try these suppliers:
Henry's Automotive Warehouse 1-800-239-8149
Restoration Specialties and supply company 814-467-9842
Wurth 1-800-987-7487 or www.wurthusa.com

Metric & Multistandard Corp. is also a good supplier for not only trim screws, but the proper fasteners and washers for a lot of applications on classic Ferraris as well.

Thank you everyone for your assistance. I found a great supplier for screws and other items. www. Restorationstuff.com .
Example: #4 interior oval head straight slot screws from reoriginals cost 52 cents each. This company only charges 8 cents. Better quality as well.

just as marked up.

That's the "Ferrari" markup. Kind of like when you buy things that are "Marine" grade.

Reoriginals has helped me quite a bit on some very hard to find items and the quality has always been good. The screws and washers from them are not up to my standards. The ones from restorationstuff are much finer quality. I needed 4 rear tail light lense screws which I purchased from reoriginals for 14 dollars. I could not find them anywhere else, they had them.

Yes. They are a good bunch. Susan is especially helpful.
