Good (and reasonable) upholsterer in the northeast?

Post by JAV »

I'd like to have my Lusso seats looked at and evaluated for repair or recovering. Any recommendations for good guys in the northeast?

If you have not conditioned the lether,
try this product first, it works very well on neglected, dry leather.

Had my dash, glove box, transmission tunnel and parcel deck re-mouse furred and drivers seat stitched and refoamed by Frank's Auto Top just off the Elmwood Ave exit # 17 on 95 South in Providence (401-781-6396.) Great job, old craftsman, very good price.

Sam,

I just realized we're neighbors.. I live in Attleboro.

I'll give him a call. If you wouldn't mind, Could you PM me as to what he did to restitch your seat? Thats the biggets problem on mine... the stiching is gone in a few seams and I'd like to get a sense for how thats dealt with and weigh the cost against new upholstery.

Thanks

If you want to see some excellent photos of these seats in various stages of restoration go to f-chat and do a search for Lynx 275. It has a restoration record of a 275gtb and great details. Same seats as a Lusso.
