1962 250 PF coupe for sale near me

Post by JAV »

This car is within 15 minutes of my house if anyone here is interested in a project. I have no affiliation and have not seen it but, I've created a Ferrarir 250 search on ebay and this recently popped up.

I'd be happy to go look and provide some independant (but not expert) opinions if anyone is interested.

If you go and see the car, try to find a body number. Easiest place might be the bonnet.

Apparently this car was built using remains of PF Coupe with papers (and frame?) from a scrapped GTE. I think the chassis number used is 3127, but would love to get that confirmed too... Best wishes, Kare

The front suspension upper A-arm looks in the pictures look like an american stamped item running in rubber bushes - did those 250's not have the traditional bronze bushed bolted together upper A-arms?

I saw the same thing. All the front suspensions up to around the 330s were cast steel upper and lower control arms as you described. I wonder how much of the original front cross member still exists.

I've never seen that much leather in a PF Coupe before.
