today I had the rare pleasure
of attendin a private showing
of the Ferrari Enzo
as part of the FCA NW Region
'Tech Day' at Ron Tonkin GT
not only did I get to see the Enzo
but we got an extensive session
with the car (about 3 hours)
we got to see the interior
under the front and rear lids
as well as the car up on the lift
(not much to see there,
underside all enclosed)
we not only got to hear it run
but we also got to review
the diagnostic software
with the Tech
(they had just replaced the Fans
and some trouble codes were triggered)
this included viewing the various parameters
being monitored by the engine
(8 pages worth)
while the engine was running
pretty neat!
we got to see the values changing
as the engine warmed up, revved, etc
also in attendance
1972 365 GTS/4 'Daytona Spyder' (real NOT converted)
212 Vignale (I forget year)
456 GT
360 spyder
512 BBi
Testarossa
as well as a Vector
(pretty cool, actually)
a Fiat Dino Coupe
some new Maseratis
various and sundry race cars
very interesting indeed
